Insulating paints can be applied to ceilings and walls where insulation is required. Insulating paint additives
Thermilate is made up of spheres which contain vacuums within them. In practice it’s a material that feels like a very fine sand. The additive is mixed into normal paints and applied. It does leave a slightly textured finished to the surface which is not noticeable unless you touch it. It’s not suitable for use with gloss paints.
